It's New Year's Eve & I'm staying home. Great. Can't my social life be any boring? I'm staying home on a day where everybody is going out & celebrate the coming of new year. Double great. If it's not because of my exams (which will be in 3 days), I would have gone out & celebrate too. But I'm staying home & burying my head in my Analog books like I should do.
On anothe topic, today is the Hari Raya Aidil Adha & here I am in Cyberjaya, & not with my family. I listened to the Hari Raya's takbir last night & I said to myself "I should go to the prayer tomorow". So I asked around if there will a prayer tomorrow in MMU's mosque. Friends said that there will a prayer tomorrow & most of them are not sure whether they're going or not.
I really wanted to go to the prayer (believe me, I do). But when I woke up today, it's already 8.30 am & I've no time to go. I went back to sleep & woke up again at 10.30 am. Brushed my teeth, washed my face & took out the broom, pail & mop. It's my turn to sweep & mop the house this week. So I did my duty & when finished, I went to wash my little car.
I got few messages from friends wishing a happy new year to me & I think this is the best one so far. So I like to share it with everyone. Here it is :
"The year is almost gone but it has also made us strong. The path was long but we walked it with a song. There were fears & tears but we also had reasons for cheers. Wishing you Happy Memories of 2006 & have a Great 2007. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! "
